ABOUT US

The Gallery Olaf Stüber opened in May 2001 on Max-Beer-Straße in Berlin-Mitte, near Alexanderplatz and the Volksbühne Theatre. The gallery is managed by its owner, Olaf Stüber.

The gallery’s program focuses on video art, but also includes photography, performance, installation and painting. On its roster are emerging and mid-career artists such as Marc Aschenbrenner, BitteBitteJaJa, Martin Brand, Com&Com, Thierry Geoffroy/ Colonel, Michael Höpfner, Thomas Kilpper, Knut Klaßen, Dirk Meinzer, Astrid Nippoldt, Stefan Panhans and Corinna Schnitt. In various shows the gallery also worked with Keren Cytter, Antje Majewski, Mathilde ter Heijne, Guido van der Werve or Tobias Zielony.

The artists represented have participated in major group and solo shows in established national and international institutions, including Museum Ludwig Cologne, Hamburger Kunsthalle, Dallas Contemporary, Hirshhorn Museum Washington, MOCCA Toronto, and others.

The gallery regularly takes part in art fairs, such as Art Forum Berlin, Art Brussels, Art Cologne, Loop - Video Art Fair Barcelona, and NADA Art Fair Miami.

Together with the Berlin-based collector Ivo Wessel, Stüber initiated
